Happy New Year!

Yes, it’s been a while that I have blogged, but that’s because I’ve been busy with classes and events. ‘Ohana Arts Studio, Polynesian Dance Studio, and Kinderhula started as a homebased business in 2007 and moved into the Mariner Building in 2009. It has been a dream come true for me.

Wishing everyone a happy new year. It already looks like it’s going to be an awesome year.

We’re growing!

Our studio is growing in leaps and bounds. Thanks to everyone who have found me online and via Craigslist!

I am working on the March and April 2010 schedule. Lots more sewing classes, hula and Tahitian classes, Hawaiian quilting workshops, and more!

Don’t forget the Mid Atlantic Quilt Show is being held this Saturday, February 27th at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. I know that two of my Hawaiian quilters, Cynthia and Dacia, are going. Y’all have fun!

On Wednesday, February 24th, we will be conducting a free Tahitian dance lesson at the Heritage Commons Retirement Community Center.  7 pm to 8 pm. 236 Commons Way which is off Bypass Road behind the Cracker Barrel Restaurant.
